Team Fortress 2 The Sequel The Board Game (The Unofficial Version) | 2011
How To Play (Basics):
There are two modes, Control Points and Capture the Flag. At the heart of it, they play like the TF2 versions. Each player picks a team and tries to wipe the other team out while completing the objectives at the same time. If you're a fan of TF2, you might want to give this adaptation a try. It's not exactly the same, obviously, but despite all it's similarities it feels radically different from the original - controlling the entire team really makes a difference in how you think about the game.

Post Mortem:
Team Fortress 2 The Sequel the blah blah blah was a fantastic exercise as a designer. Vanilla TF2 is a superbly designed game, to the point where you don't even notice how well everything works together. It really is impressive: hence this exercise. The challenge was to deconstruct TF2 and make a board game out of it, and I had to come up with some pretty interesting adaptations - such as, the Engineer and Medic became the same class. While it's not my favorite piece, it was a fantastic exercise and I highly recommend it.
